While we have a few standard ways to collaborate - like workshops, box-building events, and bulk orders with customization -we're also big believers in getting creative. No two communities are alike, and neither are their needs.

Workshops
Find Your Anchor workshops are designed to educate and empower people about suicide awareness and prevention.
The workshops allow participants to learn about the mission of FYA, the vital role of a stranger who cares, and the importance of anchors - which are small, joyful things that provide a secure base in times of struggle.
Helping facilitate conversations around mental health is so critical - and if we can do it in a more personal way, these interactions will be more powerful + effective.











How do FYA Workshops work?
During our workshops, participants learn about this grassroots movement and then build their own FYA boxes. The boxes are creatively and thoughtfully designed to offer hope and support. You will receive all items separately packaged, along with a full inventory list to ensure all materials are included in each box. The materials include items like: a deck of 52+ Reasons to Live cards, a sensory strip with box breathing, posters, stickers, a letter from a stranger who cares, and a mixtape full of uplifting music.
You will also be supplied with visual guides to aid in the workshop setup.
At the end of the workshop, participants are encouraged to add a personal touch to each box by writing a note to a stranger who might be struggling.
The goal of the workshop is to build community through a network of strangers who care and equip participants with a tangible tool they can use themself, give to a loved one or friend, or launch into their community to help a stranger in need. Some of our favorite places are coffee shops, park benches, and little libraries! There is no prior training needed to participate in a workshop; FYA provides all the necessary materials and guides.
We offer two distinct ways to engage with our workshop: the In-Depth Workshop + the Community Box Building Event.
Option 1: The In-Depth Workshop
This option is for those who want a comprehensive, educational experience. It is designed to be a smaller, more intimate event that facilitates deeper conversations around mental health.

- What it is: A curated experience where participants learn about the history and mission of Find Your Anchor, the meaning of anchors, and the vital role of a stranger who cares.
- Key Activities: The event includes a presentation, a guided discussion, and a thoughtful, personal process of building a box. The focus is on understanding the "why" behind each item placed inside.
- Best for: Smaller groups, professional development settings, or anyone who wants to connect with the Find Your Anchor mission on a deeper, more personal level.
Option 2: The Community Box Building Event
This option is for those who want to build a high volume of boxes in an efficient, assembly-line style. It's a great choice for large groups or community-wide initiatives.

- What it is: A large-scale, dynamic event designed for speed and efficiency. The goal is to produce a large quantity of boxes to be distributed throughout the community.
- Key Activities: The event is set up as an assembly line where participants move from station to station, adding specific items to the boxes. It's a fun and fast-paced way to contribute to the cause.
- Best for: Large community groups, corporate team-building, campus events, or anyone whose primary goal is to quickly and effectively get as many mental health resources as possible into your community.




Bulk Orders
What’s a bulk order?
As a means of background, Find Your Anchor vows to make boxes free for those who are personally struggling. In order to keep this promise, we need those who are in a position to do so - organizations, schools, professionals, etc. - to purchase boxes. We've found that this model works well because organizations and communities receive much needed resources, while individuals who may not have the means, can also receive help.
Our price breakdowns are as follows:
1 box = $25
25 boxes = $24/box
50 boxes = $23/box
100 boxes = $22/box (with customization options)
250 boxes = $20/box (with customization options)
500 boxes = $18/box (with customization options)
1,000 boxes = $17/box (with customization options)
5,000 boxes = $16/box (with customization options)
10,000 boxes = $15/box (with customization options)
Customization options include: a branded label on the inside flap of the box + a customized list of Resources inside the box.
Note: the Resources are currently nationally-focused (988, Crisis Text Line, etc.), but can be customized to the resources of your choice.
